01 · The Stay
Witchcliffe · Margaret River Region
Your own place to slow down.
A private guest apartment in Witchcliffe, with a king bedroom, generous living space, well-equipped kitchenette and a deck made for long breakfasts and late-afternoon wine.
02 · Your Space
Everything you need, with room to breathe.
Vineside is a private guest apartment adjoining our home, set on 2.2 acres at the edge of a quiet Witchcliffe neighbourhood. It feels rural without leaving you far from town — Margaret River is around 12 minutes away and the Wadandi Track is within walking distance.
Inside, there’s a king bedroom, private ensuite, generous living room and well-equipped kitchenette. Outside, your private deck looks through the native garden towards the neighbouring vineyard and bushland — a place for slow breakfasts, afternoon wine and quiet evenings under the stars.
03 · Settle In
Made for more than sleeping.
The living space is somewhere to properly settle in — make coffee, put your feet up, open the servery window and let the outside in.
The kitchenette is equipped for easy meals and slow mornings, with a two-burner induction cooktop, full-size fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee facilities and everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Step through to the private deck for breakfast outside, an afternoon glass of wine or a quiet evening looking towards the garden and neighbouring vines.
Open the window. Stay awhile.
04 · Rest Easy
Sleep well. Wake slowly.
The king bedroom is made for proper sleep — a plush king bed with king-sized pillows, a mattress topper and flax linen bedding, with soft lighting and a ceiling fan for warmer nights.
Your private ensuite sits just off the bedroom, with a generous walk-in shower, soft towels, beach towels, bath products, a hairdryer and the everyday essentials already here for you.
No alarm required. Birdsong usually does the job.
05 · Outside
Take it outside. Stay until the stars come out.
Your private deck is an extension of the apartment — somewhere for breakfast outside, an afternoon drink or dinner from the BBQ as the light changes over the garden and neighbouring vines.
The firepit is generally available from May to October, when local fire restrictions and conditions allow. And once the sun disappears, Vineside’s intentionally low outdoor lighting leaves the night sky to do most of the work.
Golden hour. Then stay for the stars.

07 · Thoughtful by Nature
A lighter footprint, naturally.
Sustainability at Vineside isn’t something we’ve added on afterwards. It’s simply part of how we live here.
From collected rainwater and plant-based cleaning products to passive-solar design, native planting and gentler outdoor lighting, small choices are built into the way Vineside works.
Rainwater collected here
Household water comes from rain collected on the property and filtered for drinking, showering and everyday use. Bore water is used for garden irrigation, helping reserve rainwater for the house.
Designed with the climate
Passive-solar principles, shade and natural airflow help reduce the need for heating and cooling wherever possible.
Gentler products
We predominantly use natural and plant-based cleaning products and minimise harsher chemicals wherever practical, while maintaining the standards a guest stay needs.
Room for nature
Native planting across the property provides food and shelter for birds, frogs, pollinators and other wildlife, while outdoor lighting is deliberately kept gentle so the night remains dark — and the stars remain visible.
Thoughtful choices. Simply part of how we live here.
