We’re so glad you found Vineside! For us, the name represents more than just a place to stay—it’s a connection to the land. A place where vineyards meet native bushland and where slowing down feels effortless. It’s all about savouring simple pleasures: a glass of wine on the deck, the rustle of gum leaves in the breeze, and the golden glow of a Margaret River sunset.
And if you're really lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the Aurora Australis dancing across the night sky—right from your deck.
We designed Vineside as a modern, rustic retreat for travellers who appreciate nature, comfort, and a touch of the unexpected. Whether you’re here to unwind or explore, Vineside offers the best of the Southwest region—from world-class wineries and towering forests to ancient caves and rugged coastal walks. Spend your days discovering pristine beaches, indulging in fresh local produce, or simply soaking up the tranquillity of the landscape. About Us
As lovers of the outdoors, great food, and slow living, we built Vineside to offer more than just a place to stay—it’s a true retreat, crafted with local knowledge and genuine hospitality. We live on the property in the main house along with our two friendly (and occasionally cheeky) dogs, Lily and Luna. They’ll likely greet you with wagging tails from behind the fence—but don’t worry, they know their boundaries (mostly!).
At Vineside, we’re passionate about sustainability and taking care of the land we call home. From using rainwater to choosing eco-friendly products and minimising waste, we take conscious steps to protect our environment.
Our goal is to create a space where you can relax, recharge, and reconnect. We want Vineside to feel like a home away from home—just with better wine, breathtaking views, and no responsibilities.

But if you crave peace, privacy, and the beauty of a quiet rural escape, you’ll feel right at home.
Located in Witchcliffe, Vineside offers the best of both worlds—secluded and peaceful, yet just minutes away from everything that makes this region incredible. With stunning beaches, ancient caves, towering forests, and world-class wineries all within a 12-minute drive, you’ll have the perfect base to explore.
