Vineside is nestled in Witchcliffe, Western Australia, just 12 minutes from Margaret River.
Who are the hosts?
Your hosts are Hayley and Luke, along with their friendly dogs, Lily (Lagotto Romagnolo) and Luna (Groodle). We live on the property and are always happy to assist.

Vineside is more than just a place to stay—it’s an authentic Margaret River experience. Unlike many other accommodations in the region, we’re born and bred locals with 40 years of deep local knowledge. This is our home, and we love sharing the hidden gems of this spectacular region with our guests.
Having spent decades exploring every beach, hiking every trail, and visiting every winery, we know the best off-the-beaten-track spots that most visitors never find. Whether it’s a secluded swimming hole, a secret surf break, or the best place to watch the sunset with a glass of local wine, we’re here to offer insider tips and recommendations that will make your stay truly special.

Set on a peaceful 2.2-acre property, the space is crafted with care—featuring a fully equipped kitchen, a luxurious king-sized bed, and thoughtful, eco-friendly touches throughout. Tucked away in Witchcliffe, one of the region’s most charming small towns, you’ll be perfectly positioned to explore world-class wineries, ancient forests, pristine beaches, and dramatic coastal cliffs—all just a short drive away.

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM. and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Please be mindful that we must strictly enforce our check-out time to allow for cleaning.
Can I request a late check-out?
Late check-out must be prearranged before your arrival and is subject to availability. We cannot accommodate same-day late check-out requests. If the apartment is not vacated by 10:15 AM, we will need to pass on the cost of our cleaner waiting.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes! We have super-fast Wi-Fi, and there’s no password—just connect and enjoy.
Do you have air-conditioning or heating?
Yes! We have reverse-cycle air-conditioning for heating and cooling, plus ceiling fans in the bedroom and living area. Please turn off all fans and air-conditioning when leaving the apartment.
What’s included in the kitchen?
The kitchen is fully equipped with a two burner induction cooker, microwave, full-sized fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, rice cooker, coffee machine, and all cookware and utensils you need to prepare meals. A mini oven & air fryer is also available upon request—just let us know if you'd like it set up for your stay.
Can I use the BBQ?
Yes! There’s a Mini Weber BBQ on your deck. We check the gas regularly, but if you ever run out while cooking, let us know, and we’ll bring a replacement straight away.
Do you provide toiletries?
Yes, we supply Koala Eco all-natural, non-toxic products, including:
- Hand Wash
- Body Wash
- Shampoo & Conditioner
- Body Lotion
Is there a laundry?
Yes, we have a washer and dryer, and we also provide all-natural washing liquid for your use. However, laundry access is only available for stays of 3 nights or more. The laundry is locked, so if you’d like to use it, just send us a message.
🔺 Important: Due to extreme drought conditions in summer, we cannot allow guests staying less than 3 nights to use the laundry. Last summer, we completely ran out of water, so we appreciate your understanding and help in conserving this precious resource.
Can I bring pets?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Vineside.
Can I have visitors during my stay?
Visitors are welcome, but please let us know in advance. Only approved visitors may enjoy the apartment.
Is smoking allowed?
No. Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are not permitted anywhere on the property.
Will I meet your dogs?
Yes! Our friendly dogs, Lily (Lagotto Romagnolo, brown, 3 years old) and Luna (Groodle, black, 1 year old), love meeting guests. They are very gentle, but please don’t feed them and watch out—Luna is a thief and will steal your shoes or socks if given the chance!
Do you have other animals on the property?
Yes! We’re getting free-range chickens, so please keep the gates closed. You’ll also see wild rabbits, foxes, and plenty of birds.
